Any time...glad they were used.

When Jeff moved the list to Yahoo I asked ibiblio to turn the old one
over to me with a new name, composteas, in case I ever had any use for
it (they no longer host new lists for the public so what we have now is
all we will have). I like the Mailman interface and so do most
subscribers. There was some sort of gap or two in my subscription to
composttea after the move to Yahoo so my personal archives are lacking.
What I have now, dating back a few years, is excellent material for
learning, for the farmer and for the equipment designer and
manufacturer. Composttea is the best forum on this topic anywhere, hands
down, and nearly the only one, add rare posts from fukuoka farming,
permaculture and very rarely sanet-mg, and now permies.com which is
excellent and broad-based.

I would like to upload my current composttea archives to ibiblio and
convert them to the same format as the one you mentioned earlier. There
is much important information in that collection. I can add updates from
time to time to keep it current. ibiblio just reinstalled the necessary
conversion software so I will try to get that task done asap; will post
link when it available for browsing.

Another great archive and much food for thought, though at times
controversial, are posts by Michael Astera made to the soil & health
list; he has since moved to his own private forum. As far as soil
testing, soil mineral amendments and nutrient balancing there is a lot
to learn from those posts. I see him as a thoughful and generous person
with many good ideas. He lays the groundwork for you to do your own soil
test result analysis and amendment prescriptions.

Food for thought, food for the soil.
