We need the plant yield data to make the case that brix protected the plants.
Would you have some measure of the plant response to the freeze, where the
plants with high brix didn't die, gained more weight, produced more seeds?
Something to document that the plants you sprayed with the special biology
were in fact happier? Grew better?
That's what we have to have, that level of documentation.
If not, then could someone put together a SARE grant where we would get that
kind of data? Put Lloyd on the grant so he can do the field work, or at
least do his approach that at least visually seems to give this protection to
the plant?
That's what has to happen to convince the conventional world of the
usefulness of the biological approaches. I'd be happy to help on the
writing, or reviewing of the grant, if you want.
