Just try not to say that one thing is more important than another, ok? We
don't have to get into the ranking thing. The pump is important. The pipes
are important. They both have their things you have to be aware of.

Lots of background in what has gone on with pumps, and lots with pipes. The
only way I KNOW to know something is to have the data.

As Bob has been finding out, what it says in the catalogue ain't always so,
You have to test to make sure.

Engineers said bio-film wouldn't happen in the pipes. Until bio-film in the
pipes started killing the organisms in the tea........

Bio-film happens. It's worst in 90 degree angle pipes. The bio-film
develops first right at the turn.

Pumps? Yes, you have to pay attention to them too. They can kill critters.
But pipes and pumps are two different issues, BOTH of which you have to pay
attention. Don't say one isn't important because the other one is more of a
problem. Nope. They are both things you have to pay attention to.

And then there's the water issue. And aeration. And the foods you add.

The company you buy your machine from should solve those problems for you
before you buy the machine. When they don't do that, you are going to have
problems. Don't buy a machine that doesn't have data showing the organisms
stay ACTIVE in the tea, at adequate numbers.
