Re: [compost_tea] Puzzled!!!
Hi Scott -
Sure would like to see you! But life is very busy, I know!

If the organisms are still rapidly growing, they should use up the oxygen and
make things smelly. But, if they use up all the food while you are still
aerating, and the orgnaisms start to slow down because they have no food,
them they may be high in number, but not in activity.
Hopefully, you did not seal the bottles. But if they were sealed, and they
didn't start stinking, then you didn't have bad guys in the tea to foul
things up, and everything was asleep enough to not be a problem.

It could be fine. You want to repeat your brew several times, and test, so
you know if you can repeatedly produce a good tea. Once you have the
starting materials, the compost, the ewater, the aeration things down, and
you know you are repeatedly doing good tea, then you shouldn't have to test
except every once in a while.

fungal compost into the soil, fungal teas to keep things going, fungal foods,
and compost as mulch, or fungal foods as mulch,
I think you have to drop everything and come to Coff's Harbour! GRIN. :-))
