[compost_tea] Why buy?
If the rationale for purchasing a Pre-built is "the testing has been done
for you already". What about the fact that there are so many different kinds
of compost. Say you have a brewer from a manufacturer who posted super
results from SFI. Then you brewed CT with it, would the lab test still be
the same? Probably not, unless you brewed in exactly the same conditions and
with the same ingredients.
What is more important, Brewer or compost?
How many factors are there to consider when building a brewer?

1) circulates the water to hold all areas of the brew evenly aerted,
2) circulates with enought agitation to releae microbes from the compost,
then keep the ingrediants well distributed but nor over agitated to inhibit
repoduction,.
3) provide O2 evenly and abundantly during high microbe devlopment rates,.
4) results in good TEA when loaded with an effective recipe & quality
stuff,.
5) the machine is sized to produce the quantity you should apply.
6) The machine is easy to load, manage, economical to run, clean and care
for,
7) Is there more to be had? - at any price? Bob
How many factors are there to consider when getting the compost and microbe
foods all worked out?????????
Do the brewers come with all that information worked out for you?

But even starting with a tested machine and tested recipe, the research has
just begun. Choosing compost. Each is a bit different, adjusting temps
and nutrients, doing the brew carefully, application machines, technique,
conditions, conditions, conditions, adverse bugs, weather, irrigation water,
seed, varieties, more !!!???
