RES: [compost_tea] Feather Meal
Good question except for the fact that they are
both simple sugars and not complex sugars.
Molases is basically sucrose ( Ok more complex than
glucose but still a low carbon chain sugar -C6 )
Malt has also simple sugars because were made by breakdown of the
cereal starch ).
I don´t see why they should work differently.

what's the difference between malt and molasses ? I know they come from
different plants but are they not both complex sugars ? and if molasses
grows bacteria why would malt grow fungi ?
