I’m
concerned about the pH issue. What is the point in getting the pH adjustment in
our compost or tea if we are going to irrigate with water that is exponentially
higher. Many of us have found soil pH adjustment with alkaline soils to be a
futile exercise. Are we giving to much credence to the chemical availability
charts? I think so! We think we have a problem based on flawed fertilization
methods. If I go through the exercise to lower pH and then irrigate what have I
gained? Many systems, source materials and nutrient packs are exceeding Ingham’s
fungal standards consistently without all the balderdash. Tom Jaszewski www.livesoil.com 702-595-7012 -----Original

to alter the pH in his AH and got very fast growth. I worry that this may
have a deleterious effect on some of the microbes. John really knows
what he is doing, so I think this is worth looking
into. I have not done much testing on the pH side of
things....there is just so much she who is in charge will allow by way of
experimenting. To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: compost_tea-unsubscribe@yahoogroups.com Your use of Yahoo! Groups is subject to the Yahoo! Terms of Service. |
