Hi Laura
We use kelp as a part of mixes for foliar, have not tried
Acadian - but it is available here. We put our mixes together radionically
and find liquid kelp a useful component of that on most occassions.
I did use liquid kelp in earlier days on its own - interestingly we saw no
visible result but when we measured yield at harvest there was a good
increase (about 15% + yield) also in that trial we had topdressed urea that
looked heaps better than other treatments and yielded less than control with
an accompanying drop in grain quality - the urea treatment lost us about $50
bucks a hectare. these were replicated plots (4reps) of four different
fertiliser treatments - urea vs three different foliars. I dont know whether
I've still got the documentation but can look if youd like it.
Cheers
Lloyd Charles
