Elaine,
Where does molasses, raw, made from sugar
beet stand in recomendations for using in C.T.I am using this but certainly will
not be organic in Portugal.
My dictioanry gives the meaning of blackstrap as'a
mixture of rum and molasses' !!
But presumably the following is
correct
'BLACKSTRAP MOLASSESIn sugar refining, molasses is separated from the sugar crystals after each of three boiling or extraction processes that sugar cane goes through. The 3rd and final separation is called blackstrap molasses, and is used mostly as an ingredient in cattle feed.' Regards. Bill H.'But we are talking
blackstrap, organic molasses, not dry cane products.'
