Clay,
With holding periods are based on the idea that you are applying a toxic
material that after a period of time becomes " non toxic"!!!
AACT that by definition has been made so that it contain no harmful or
insignificant amounts of harmful material or organisms (nil ecoli etc). Note
by definition this is AACT Active Aerated Compost Tea and apparently can be
drunk with no harmful side effects. I have not personally done this yet!
It is likely that there are more harmful organisms in the water you are
irrigationg with than there are AACT .
This is one of the major benefits of using AACT in comercial production,
people working in your patch will not be harmed by you spraying and then
them picking the next day or whatever.
Your customers will not be picking up toxic material either.
 MSD sheets are available for AACT, this has been covered in the past, you
would need to look up archives etc.
