Doc -- I have to ask if the research design was sound. Seems like if you
want to test compost, then nutrients need to be same, and if you want to
test nutrient effects then the compost, activated or not, needs to be same?
And on a prior comment you made, it seems to me that if a Bitti in 10
gallons isn't enough air, we're all in big trouble... If it's a 1cfm pump,
that's an air/water ratio of .75 -- 2.83L/gallon compared to Paul W's 1L/gal
rule of thumb (a/w .26). Even if it pumps a little less, that still seems
like some hefty air.
