[compost_tea] Re: Re: adware pest warning

I've been going thru archives cleaning out yahoo stuff among other things
and I think it's yahoo that's attaching stuff. Maybe some ISPs too - AOL?
Doc often gets ads attached and somehow, Laura, you get ads attached between
the body of your note and your signature regularly! Never have been bugged
by that but it is puzzling.

Has anyone noticed every once in a while on opening the digest, there's a
request to download some kind of software for some unknown purpose? I don't
get it anyway, but it sure feels like a serious system and commercial
intrusion which is clearly coming from yahoo.

Mike -- what's that about? I never download or open unexpected executables
and want to believe that's a good practice. Am I missing something?
Yahoo's insistence on "wide open cookies" at their site also bugs me, but
that's something else, I suppose.

Seems we just gotta live with adware unless we pony up the bucks to get our
own host, hmm?
