<<<<<<I am a VISTA volunteer doing some research for my project. I am not=

at all scientific, but I am fairly intelligent. I have just
finished reading The Compost Tea Brewing Manual. Am I correct in
understanding that compost tea has live organisms in it and so can
not be bottled and stored? I would also like to know how compost
tea and worm tea are the same and how they are different. If anyone
out there can help me out by answering these questions, I will
really appreciate it.>>>>

Yes, Aerated Compost tea contains live microorganisms who will use up the n=
utrients and oxygen in the tea water so it cannot be stored. It will go ana=
erobic and you will start to grow things you don't want

Depending on the compost(humus) you use to make tea, it has different micro=
bial diversity.....worm castings make good tea, but if you mix the two ingr=
edients...compost and worms, you get higher diversity. Also, I seem to get =
much more fungal off of compost (Alaska Humus) than I do from worm castings=
.

Hopes this helps.
