If brewer is right at the field ( must be ) 5 minutes comming and going leaves 40 mnute to spray 5,000 g = spray rate at 125 gpm. big pump, big nozzels. Maybe two rigs? Anyhow it is big business.
There's lots of farmland w/o irigation. What you going to do to save
the midwest from chemicals and drought? Unless we soil drench after
each major till. wishfully there will be no till. omething less damaging to the SFW. Less expensive in terms of energy invested. ACT may do as much as till, cost less, do more good?? Maybe once per year? Think the tea could destroy
the weed seeds?????????If applied in the fall. Microbes eat weed seeds??? great idea. Don't know. wish it is yes
Spray coupe is a self propelled spray rig. There are others. John
deere has some. What capacity do they have?
To close the stomata (see below)will require the soil drench
probably yearly don't you think?
The BOB1500 will fill the bill. Soil drench 500 acres in 10

One time cost? 700 lbs of compost nutrient blend at about $ 2.00 a lb $ 1400 per 500 acres in ACT.
Water - You can guess from your area. $500? Bewer cost less than $ 0.01/ g over some years life time. cost of coupe, $200/ day fuel $2,000 and driver $ 200 and to keep that rate of ACT going a TEA tender $ 200
One time cost is 1400 + 50+200+2,000+ 400= 4.050 = $ 8+ per acre. Is once a year enough? Don't know. Lots of stuff I don't know about this business. Learning fast. Ways to go. I think this entier change is going to become a storm. Everywhere I go the farmers are ready, eager tog et out of the clutches of the chemical racket.
In Costa Rica 1,000 farm worker a year die of pesticide poisin. How many more workers and the rest of us are damaged but don't connect the reason? In C.R. they brew in a pick up on the way to the field of vanilla trees, fill the back pack sprayer, hand it up to the man on a saddle. He takes it to the trees and hand pumps it on the trees. It works wonders they tell me.
Now imagine that job with pesticides that carry deadly chemicals. The guy will wear, breath and eat the stuff all day long.

Now 100 x 500 = 50000 gallons per day for just 500 acres. A mega
farm may have 10 to 20 tiems that aceage. 500 a day may not water it
fast enough. .

Your term spray coupes is strange to me. What are they? What I
see are big wells or big irrigation ditches. It takes lots of water.
