Re: [compost_tea] Organic Compost Tea - NOSB posted report today
Notice though that the whole pathogen experiment was done in sealed flasks =
which were agitated. This means anaerobic conditions were artifically crea=
ted and molasses added. Gee, it's no wonder they got a rise in E. Coli and=
Sal. I'm surpirised anyone let this go. A controlled experiment would h=
ave added air to one of the flasks. My bet is that Dunne? slanted the expe=
riment knowing the results would show a spike. I brew tons of tea for the =
WWTP and their testing of BIOSOLIDS shows no spike and no regrowth in the t=
ea. In fact, they use compost tea to control pathogen regrowth! Read the =
biosolids report I sent in a while back.
