The way I read the compost guidelines is that you make you pile, get
it to heat (stabilize) and then you may use it according to the per-
harvest guidelines.

Given the raging fear of pathogens that appears to be influencing the
CTTF at this stage of the game, I seriously doubt that adding compost
tea additives to the compost just prior to brewing will be acceptable.

In the eyes of the CTTF/NOP (if I have it correctly)the practice
of "pre-charging" [my quotes] does one of two things:  1) it restarts
the compost process (and the need to monitor heating requirements --
even if no animal manures are used) by introducing new foods and
enlivening existing microbes or 2) it will be considered a "compost
tea additive" requiring further testing or your process/recipe.

Maybe I missed something?
