[compost_tea] Re: Rotary Pumps For Brewing
--- Hello Grant, I'm spraying approx. 50 gal per acre in 5-6 acre
increments. I enjoyed the info you posted. could I ask how many
sprayers you use to spray 12000 ltrs daily and how many acres you
spray the 12000 ltrs on? I'm using an 8 roller pto driven pump w/o
tach (ground speed unknown)so some quess work here. I have been using
1/16th inch holes in a bucket containing the compost with aeration
and cleaning nozzles approx 1/16th inch in dia as necessary at
application. My ACT is untested in the lab at this point however I'm
getting some good things to happen in the field, it seems.Dennis

the Autumn dry spell the farmer had people stopping off the road and
asking what they were doing so different,as all the farms were drying
out around them and this placed just stayed green!!

practical[and a pain],due to the fact that when we deal with
commercial spray contractors we need to cover 40-60ha/day to be
economic.
