I've not been to a composting council meeting... And I'm in agreement with =
you and Elaine.. too much money and too much politics for a grower like me.=

I think most compost in the US is more organic material reduction than what=
 our soils would benefit from. I know that's a generalization, but I've see=
n and heard what some "compost" is like, and it's not for us. Most probably=
 wouldn't be so great for tea either... The critters need to be in the comp=
ost before making tea....

I just remember you had asked about thermoters a while ago... and another a=
lternative woudl be digital. It reads very fast and I can step off the trac=
tor as I'm truring a row and test themps in several locations. It's proball=
y not in the "low" cost range your looking for at $159, but if you need to =
