Whew! It was a busy weekend with this group. I just spent the last hour trying to catch up on the mail...
But on with my question.
I was given a couple of small bags of bat guano - it's probably one year old and has dried out. Has anyone had experience with using it to make tea? I would not use it straight - it would be mixed with other compost. I'm just wondering what ratios to use (guano:compost) and whether I should use it as a foliar spray or just apply it to the soil.
Also, what about using fresher guano (no more than 6 months old)? Would that be too rich? Should I let it "age" a bit?
Thanks in advance.
Lois
