The work with Amquel to remove chloramine is really interesting to me.


When using humic acids to deal with chloramine, you have to use a fair
amount, so you know you have complexed all the chloramine. So, how much is that? I
haven't worked it out, but hte way to do the testing would be:

ACT with the normal recipe (say 1 cup of humic acid per 5 gal of tea).

Same ACT recipe, but double the humic acid amount.

Same ACT recipe, but triple the humic acid amount.

Do a qualitative test of each recipe, see which one the organisms are
happiest, at the lowest humic acid amount.
