It probably isn't in your budget to buy, but if you already have a
regtulator for HPLV paint guns, that would probably help out a lot and
be very close to the right pressure range.
I really can't say what would work well with the oil or even if there
is a problem with it. I would try it in plain water first and let it
settle for a day and look for any film. Who knows, mineral oil might
be good critter food.
