I looked at the turfprousa test results from BBC labs for 2002 and
compared them to our test results on our worm castings from one of our
worm farms in Ramona, CA and our results appear superior.
                             enumeration cfu/gdw    srd
Heterotrophic plate count    8.2 x 10**8            2.6
Anerobic bacteria            2.9 x 10**7            1.5
Yeasts and Molds             2.0x10**4              1.6
Actinomycetes                1.3 x 10**7             0.7
Pseudomonads                 6.7 x 10**6             1.8
Nitrogen-fixing bacteria     1.5x 10**6              0.2
Chitin degraders             1.9 x 10**7            -
%moisture                    59%
total species richness srdt                          8.4

These numbers are way above those of the turfprousa stuff althrough we are
comparing castings to a liquid but the test and lab are the same.
They do no report any chitin degraders so how do they get any effect on
insects with exoskeletons.  And the point is well taken, that many
beneficial insects also have exoskeletons (perhaps all) and so this is not
a selective deterrent even if it worked as advertised.

In any case, I believe that a decent worm casting or tea from castings can
do what this stuff does.
