Greetings International Sanetters!
The Multinational Exchange for Sustainable Agriculture (MESA),
a U.S.non-profit, federally authorized training organization,
sponsors international farmers seeking 6 or 12 month live/work
positions with U.S. organic/sustainable farms,research facilities
and Ag.Extension services.
MESA reaches out to all int'l organizations that are promoting
sustainable agricultural practices and recognize the value of cross-
cultural training. In exchange for full-time on-the-farm work, MESA's
U.S. host farms supervise varied training tasks, offer outside
social activities and provide free room and board for their young exchange
farmers. Additionally, MESA provides every exchange farmer with $300
monthly stipends, medical insurance, domestic travel, educational
events and administrative support. The only program expense that
MESA does NOT cover is international airfare, which must be purchased
by the exchange farmer and/or the international organization abroad.
MESA is now planning its 1997 season and invites your organization to
contact us IMMEDIATELY for more information.
