BT (Bacillus Thurengensis) will do the trick. I've used the brand
Thuricide to control webworms in willows. It'll probably work on
Gyspy moths as well and is probably available locally. At home
somewhere I have a catalogue from an IPM firm that supplies
dozens of specialized strains of BT. Let me know if you're
interested and I'll check to see if they offer anything
specifically for Gypsy moths.
