SWINE FARMING '97

Cuban Institute of Porcine Investigations Announces Their International 
Post-Graduate Courses 1997

Areas of Emphasis:	
	Tropical Swine Farming 
		(October 13-24; US$500.00)
	Unconventional Feeding Techniques
		 (October 13-17; US$300.00)
	Genetics, Reproduction, and Artificial Insemination
		(October 13-17; US$300.00)
	Experimental Digestive Physiology
		(October 27- November 7; US$400.00)

The Cuban Institute of Porcine Investigations (IIP) has, since its 
foundation in 1972, developed experimental projects relating to 
advances genetics, nutrition, reproduction, and production technology 
in small, medium, and large scales, that have been developed by Cuban 
farmers.

For these reasons, the Institute presents these experiences in its 
International Post-Graduate Courses for graduate students (or the 
equivalent). These courses and training sessions are designed for pig 
caretakers, technical workers, and other people interested in swine raising.

The course fees include matriculation, materials, transportation to and 
from the airport, internal transportation, and lunch and refreshments 
on the days of the classes.

All of these courses will begin the week following the PORCICULTURA '97 
conference on pig raising (October 6-9, 1997). The conference 
participants will receive a US$100.00 discount from the course fees.
