GBlist: Formaldehyde in building materials

Chris and Mike:

I just received a copy of a final research report(November 1996) from the
California EPA Air Resources Board, Research Division, entitled
"Determination of Formaldehyde and Touene Diisocyanate Emissions from
Indoor Residential Sources". This report covers composite wood panels of
all sorts(phenol and urea formaldehyde resins) as well as fabrics,
decorative laminates, fiberglass products, and paper products. If you
would like to obtain a free copy you can call Peggy Jenkins(manager) at
916-323-1504 or her staff assistant Nancy Hughett at 916-323-1528

Hope this helps, Ed
