GBlist: Planted Roofs in Seattle

For a current residential project here near Seattle (a small house in
Sharingwood Cohousing), I'm looking for information on planted roofs.
Appropriate details, materials, plant species for this area, etc. Anyone have
experience or sources?

I'm imagining something like a mix of low-growing, blooming ground covers
such as thyme, mint, heathers, some wildflowers (but all hopefully native
species) on a perlite/vermiculite based soil, over EnkaDrain geotextile on
elastomeric membrane roofing over stressed skin panels (non-CFC EPS
insulation).

Thanks.
