Many are managed by full-time professional staff who may be librarians, curators, archivists, information specialists, or media specialists. At present, no graduate level degree program in library and information science offers specialization in visual resources. There is no model curriculum on which relevant training could be based. The objective of this study is to develop a model curriculum for the organization and management of visual resources, within the context of a graduate level degree program in library and information science. |
