Re: 26,000 Bird Sightings At Your Fingertips

Carolinabirders,

Many of you know Russ Tyndall as birder and as Webmaster of the Carolina
Bird Club web site. I have known Russ longer than the rest of you, having
helped him get started in birding during the mid 1980s. It was obvious then
that when he put his heart into, he excelled at it. In 2001 he and wife
Patricia set an awesome new record for North Carolina birding Big Years at
over 340 species. This past year he has produced a wonderful new software
product, Avendex. I was able to try it out during the months of beta
testing, and was very impressed. Avendex is a great product for North and
South Carolina birders and a must have if you are serious about bird records
in the Carolinas.
