I spotted a Swallow-tailed Kite in Fountain Inn, SC, at 10:45 a.m. this
morning. This was near Exit 24 of I-385 in southern Greenville County.
The bird was soaring over the KEMET Electronics parking lot. I called Pete
Worthington and he came out and found the bird again a short time later.
He said it was harassing a Red-tailed Hawk. I think this must be a county
record since this is about as far inland and as far uphill as you can get
in South Carolina.
