I was mentally berating myself for my slow progression in heading out
for work this AM and casually watching the birds through my kitchen
window. My attention was on some hummingbird antics when I noticed some
leaves just twitching. Hmm, I said to myself., wonder "who" is under
the canopy down low out of sight. It wasn't long before I got a quick
glimpse and I thought, oh, carolina wren. But something wasn't quite
right. Waited a few seconds longer when the bird finally rewarded me
with great looks..holy smokes a worm eating warbler! What a way to jump
start the morning. I think I have migration fever and there is only one
cure known to man...
Glad I was in slow mode this AM!
