I live in Pickens, which is about 20 miles ssw of Caesar's Head. At 7:45
this morning 14 Broad-winged Hawks flew over my yard, moving to the west.
Some were low, not far above the tree tops. Others were quite high as if
recently peeled out of a thermal. I thought that was pretty early in the day.
Other migrants in my yard today: Scarlet Tanager, Tennessee Warbler,
Magnolia Warbler.
