Cinnamon Teal

Hi, Greg Georges and I drove to Goldsboro today to see the Cinnamon Teal.
The little fellow, although initially out in the middle of the scads (using
the standard American Scad) of Shovelers, Hooded Mergs, and Ring-neckeds and
rather hard to find, quickly motored back to the NW corner of the pond and
thence back to a little island of I-don't-want-to-know-what quite near the
maintenance building. He then stayed there and allowed very close viewing.
A most cooperative bird. Steve was right about Arrington Bridge Road being
not too great, but that was really the only bad driving on the way, so if
you need him, I recommend heading down.

I took a gander at the North Lagoon, but time constraints prevented me from
doing a really thorough search for Grebes/Fulvous Whistling-Ducks...going to
have to go back.
