Spent an hour and a half watching the ocean at Triple Ess Pier this
morning.
Very nice--constant stream of northbound birds.
Counted 24 Razorbills during the period. A handful of these were on the
water; the rest were migrating up the coast. Most of these were flying
alone or in 2's. Three were mixed in scoter flocks--one was actually
leading the scoter flock. One migrating Razorbill was following a
Red-throated Loon.
Constant stream of Bonaparte's Gulls moving by (with many in feeding
flocks). Counted four Little Gulls--all were adults. No Ross' Gull.
Several strings of scoters--virtually all Blacks, but a few Surfs. Also
some scaup and Green-winged Teals.
