Land always has to be disced first in order to prepare it for planting. The Lassiters usually use the 8560, a 235-horsepower articulating tractor, because its size allows it to pull their 30-foot disc, which cuts in half the amount of time spent discing a field. Here, Donnie uses BigDaddy, as he calls the tractor, to disc a field that used to have cotton in it.
