Matthew Szulik steps down as RHT CEO, stays Board Chair

The news was just breaking as the Doctor Who DVD was ending. Matthew Szulik, CEO and President of Red Hat, is stepping down from those positions but will remain Chairman of the Red Hat Board of Directors.

Matthew, himself, has a touching blog post in which he looks back to his start there in 1999 as CEO.

Jim Whitehurst, formerly COO of Delta Airlines, was named the new Red Hat CEO.
