Forum One Report
I agree with the prediction that the number of scheduled event forums
tied to real world events will increase. I think more people have access
to the web more often than access to a television - especially at work,
which will increase the size of the potential audience. Also, when
viewing an event through the web, people can participate in the event
through online communities.
I disagee that there will be few moderators in public forums. I think
people will find a way to moderate these forums, because if all the ads
don't drive people away, the off-topic postings will.
On the topic of software, I agree that there will be discussions about
standards, if the vendors don't start these discussions, then users will.
Although incompatibility is not always a bad thing. It encourages
competition between developers and drives R&D.
