Dear Soubhagyavati Kalaivani, A very interesting question. A similar issue was recently addressed by Sriman Sadagopan Iyengar Swami when he talked about His occasional display of anger. The key here is that He does not get angry like us - that is, an emotion that we are unable to control and which erupts almost on its own. His anger is per His own sankalpam. Duryodhana could not have refused had He wished him not to; so, He knew that Duryodhana would refuse, but He displays anger nevertheless to teach us that it is correct to rise in anger when adharma is practised. Otherwise, people would say that even Krishna did not get angry when Duryodhana refused to follow the dharmic way. This is adiyEn's interpretation, subject to corrections from our learned members. adiyEn madhurakavi dAsan TCA Venkatesan --- kalaivani retnavellu <Kalaivani4krishna@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > i was under the impression that our kanna wanted the > bharatha por to > happen to reduce the burden of bhumadevi. so why was he > angered by the > refusal by dhuryodhanan? after all it was going > 'according to plan' right? > if dhuryodhanan had agreed to give just give 5 villages, > could the bharatha > por been averted? __________________________________________________ Do you Yahoo!?
