Dear bhAgavatas,
Once, I had a debate with my sanskrit master on the shape of Urdhva-
pundram (he is a vadakalai) - he argued that nAsikA-mUlam is the part
between the two eyebrows and Urdva-pundram's lower tip should touch
nAsika-mUlam according to Agams. Thenkalai version of extending it
below to the nose is hence wrong. I disagreed saying that nAsika-
mUlam may mean lower tip, but he didn't agree.
Can anyone provide references for our version of Urdhva-pundram & the
justifications of it?

Dear mohan, here is a silly suggestion - can you tell someone to
apply it for you?

Regards,
Kasturi Rangan .K

them some times, I am not good at that. I mean, the oordhwa pundram
(Tenkalai style) doesn't come out well some times especially Tiruman
i.e it is not straight, broken lines, etc.. I use silver stick to
draw the same. Can you tell me if there is a better way of drawing
it or is there any better tool or some such thing to draw it.
