I have some doubts on parasuram avathar. Some vaishnavites believe
that lakshmi and vishnu are inseperable and in every avathar of
vishnu, lakhsmi always followed him.But as far as I know in
parasuram avathar and vamana avathar this did not happen. Also we
have read that parasurama was defeated by bheeshma in vyasa
bharatham. Why was this so?"Also parasuram avathar reminds more of a
kalki avathar--destroying kings.Every avathar of vishnu is filled
with karunya and love even to his enemies. But parasuram avathar
destroyed all ksathriyas indiscriminatly. He even came to kill king
dasaratha, who was a benign ksathriya king.Is there any reason behind
this?

Also is Balarama an avathar of vishnu?
