Murphey
Hall (1922)
[Go
to this building's website]
Murphey Hall was originally the home for language and literature,
and today it is the Department of Classics. In 1928, the Bull's
Head Bookshop was established inside, and it was the only bookshop
in Chapel Hill at the time. The bookshop was relocated when the
new library building was opened.
