Re: Disney Animation Research Library Inside Tour
Well...
I can only imagine it has the approval of Disney, else how could the lucky
heir/heiress/debutante be allowed in (I describe the winner that way if only
because the price at the moment is $5100, more than us well-paid archivists can
manage, I think). That being the case, I have to assume it's another shameless
money-grabbing ploy by a corporation down to its last billions in reserve
capital.
If I'm wrong, and this is a genuine attempt to share the joys of the
studio/archives with a lucky member of the public, I apologize, but I still
think it's a weird way to go about it, particularly, as Daryl points out, if
there's no charity involved. I certainly wouldn't open the place up to random
tours, using ebay as a filter, but hey, it ain't my office.
