Dear Forum-Members
οι δε παραγενομενοι προσ τον ιησουν παρεκαλουν αυτον σπουδαιωσ λεγοντεσ οτι αξιοσ εστιν ω (RP:) παρεξει/ (NA:) παρεξη τουτο
Could the RP-παρεξει here be an Attical form of παρέξῃ? (See Cambridge Greek Grammar 2019, § 12.7, Note 1; or BDF §27)

Re: Luke 7:4 παρεξει
First, "Attic" not "Attical." Secondly, yes, it could be -ει is an alternate form for -ῃ in the 2nd person singular future middle.Jean Putmans wrote: ↑October 22nd, 2020, 1:17 pm Dear Forum-Members

Actually, it put me in mind of the line from The Pirates of Penzance "Modern Major General":Jean Putmans wrote: ↑October 23rd, 2020, 1:00 am thanks,
