Don't count on the availability of Funk's textbook anytime very soon. As
for Mounce, as we have seen, many list-members find that quite adequate,
while others have indicated their preference for one or another of several
others. Certainly we've had a good airing in recent discussion of the
wide-ranging opinions on the merits and problematic features of several
currently-available textbooks/primers/beginning-grammars.
