Cooper[1] shows twenty some examples from poetic texts and Herodotus. Somewhat rare in prose, D. 21.114 EISTIN ... hUPOSTAS, T. 4.54.3 HSAN ... GENOMENOI, X.A. 6.4.1 ARXAMENH ... ESTIN.
