Dear sir,

You ask why did John write this phrase at Rev. 14:11 without the article.
Perhaps he did include the article. I am not sure, I need to spend time
analyzing the manuscripts and oldest versions. Papyrus 115, has room for
the article (per the Oxy. evaluation). I agree the evidence is very strong
for omission of the article, but perhaps a thorough evaluation of the MSS
needs to be done FIRST, then conjectures can be formulated.

I can do a basic analysis if you wish. Dr. D. C. Parker has an upcoming
article on P115, he may therein address the possibility of room for an
article here. To me, P115 can go either way. But codex 01 should not be so
quickly ignored, even though many do not favor its readings in Revelation.
