With the mine threat subdued, the Wonsan landing force came in from the Sea of Japan and anchored off Wonsan's Kalma Pando peninsula in mid-afternoon on 25 October 1950. A few LSTs beached soon thereafter, but general landings did not begin until the following day.
This page features views of landing force shipping off Wonsan in October 1950.
