USS Yorktown (CV-5)


Chief Electrician's Mate Walter G. Fox, the "Swami of Granby Street", hypnotizes three sailors into believing they are swimming, during a "Yorktown Jamboree" performance held in the hangar deck, 10 April 1942.
The ship was then on an extended deployment in the Coral Sea area, and the "Jamboree" was staged for the crew's entertainment.
