Photo #: 80-G-162035 Camouflage Measure 33, Design 24D Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for light cruisers of the CL-51 class. This plan, dated 21 December 1943, shows the ship's starboard side, stern, superstructure ends and exposed decks. It was approved by Captain Henry A. Ingram, USN. USS San Diego (CL-53) and USS Reno (CL-96) are known to have worn this camouflage design, though San Diego was painted in darker tones than shown here.
