Camouflage Measure 33, Design 1A


Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme prepared for the aircraft carrier USS Ranger (CV-4), which was later painted in this pattern.
This plan, approved by Captain Torvald A. Solberg, USN, is dated 5 June 1944. It shows the ship's port and starboard sides, and her superstructure ends.
Note that the drawing's darkest color is Navy Blue (5-N), not the Dull Black (BK) specified in the color table.
